Chat-rooms can be
excellent for both personal and business use. In business you
would host a chat room to create better on-line communication with
your customers and maybe ever Pc Anywhere them also to resolve their
queries, which by the way is another
fantastic resource.
However I will concern this page with personal use
chat rooms, which are intended mainly for enjoyment purposes.
There are lots of different chat rooms, with lots of different
formats for interfacing. I personally prefer the format that
bravochat has adapted, it is the best I have seen to date, although
I have not viewed a vast quantity of them. When you enter navigate to chat, located on the left hand column, pick a username and enter
the chat-room. It's address is www.bravo.co.uk
You might come across me in there I'll may be on as **guess_who**.
Another chatroom I use can be found at: www.yahoo.co.uk
and navigate to chat (note: you'll need to sign up for this one...simple
process though and totally free). I usually go into Belfast Global
Chat, here you can voice (if you've a mic + speakers/headphones) or text
talk, with other people, who usually live in and around Belfast. My
username on here is: SomeDude_21.
A very useful utility I use is: MSN Messenger.
This enables me to see when my friends are on-line thus enabling me to
instantaneously communicate with them for free. It is a free service
and the program can be downloaded from www.msn.com
it's simple to use and takes very little time to learn... it's intuitive.
If you know of any, or come across any similar or better chat-rooms kindly let me
know, by e-mailing me.
